We will be holding ENTRY LEVEL handgun precision shooting program every 2nd Sunday starting Sunday July 30th and held every 2nd Sunday thereafter. MEMBERS ONLY.
START TIME: 9:30am for center fire handguns. 48 rounds required.
DESIGNED for revolvers but we will accept semi-auto pistols. (no .22 caliber)
Program is in 3 shooting stages with targets at 7m, 15m and 25m:
Stage 1 – 7m target
- 6 shots, two handed from standing position.
- 6 shots standing right hand or left hand only (no support).
Stage 2 – 15m target
- 6 shots, two handed from standing position.
- 6 shots standing right hand or left hand only (no support).
- 6 shots in kneeling position.
Stage 3 – 25m target
- 6 shots, two handed from standing position.
- 6 shots sitting position.
- 6 shots from prone position (gun cannot be supported / must not touch the floor).
NOTE:
After each 6 round event we will count your target score, this will help tell you your progress and what you need to work on.
Maximum score 480 points. Your scores will be posted at the pistol range using only your membership #
